These Terms & Conditions apply to the website and coaching services provided by Authentic Path Academy, operated by Paulina Daugirdaite, a sole trader based in Australia.
By using this website, booking a coaching session or participating in coaching services provided by Authentic Path Academy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Coaching Services
Authentic Path Academy provides personal coaching designed to support self-reflection, clarity, personal development, goal setting and meaningful action.
Coaching is a collaborative process. I provide a supportive and thought-provoking space to help you explore your circumstances, perspectives and possibilities. You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions, actions and outcomes.
The nature, duration, price and availability of coaching services may vary and will be communicated at the time of booking or purchase.
Coaching Is Not Therapy or Professional Advice
Coaching is not psychotherapy, counselling, psychology, psychiatric care, medical treatment or a substitute for professional healthcare.
Coaching also does not constitute medical, legal, financial, investment or other regulated professional advice.
If your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, you may be encouraged to seek support from an appropriately qualified professional.
Your Responsibility
By participating in coaching, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing, decisions and actions.
You are free to decide what insights, suggestions or possibilities explored during coaching you choose to act upon. You may also choose not to discuss a particular topic or answer a question at any time.
No particular personal, professional, financial or other outcome is guaranteed as a result of coaching.
Bookings & Payments
Where fees apply, prices and payment requirements will be displayed or communicated before booking.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply.
Prices, services and availability may change from time to time. Changes will not ordinarily affect services that have already been purchased or confirmed.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session, please provide reasonable notice.
Specific cancellation or rescheduling conditions may be communicated during the booking process.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the session being forfeited or a cancellation fee being applied where this was communicated at the time of booking.
If Authentic Path Academy needs to cancel a session, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule it or provide an appropriate alternative.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Refunds
Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances and the service purchased.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Confidentiality
Information shared during coaching is treated as confidential and will not ordinarily be disclosed to third parties without your permission.
Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required or authorised by law, where there is a valid legal requirement to disclose information, or where there is an imminent or likely risk of serious harm to you or another person.
Limited coaching records or notes may be maintained where reasonably necessary for continuity, professional development, credentialing, business administration or legal purposes.
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Authentic Path Academy Privacy Policy.
Online Coaching & Technology
Coaching may be provided online using third-party communication, scheduling and payment platforms.
While reasonable care is taken in using these services, uninterrupted or error-free operation of third-party technology cannot be guaranteed.
If a significant technical issue prevents a coaching session from taking place, reasonable efforts will be made to continue or reschedule the session.
International Clients
Authentic Path Academy may provide coaching services to clients in Australia and internationally.
Clients outside Australia are responsible for determining whether any local requirements apply to their participation in coaching services.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original materials provided by Authentic Path Academy, including coaching resources, exercises, worksheets and website content, remain the intellectual property of Authentic Path Academy.
These materials may be used for personal purposes but may not be reproduced, sold, published or commercially distributed without permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authentic Path Academy is not responsible for loss or damage arising solely from decisions or actions you independently choose to take following or in connection with coaching.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending the Coaching Relationship
Either you or Authentic Path Academy may choose to end the coaching relationship.
Authentic Path Academy may also decline or discontinue coaching where the client's needs fall outside the scope of coaching, professional boundaries are not respected, or continuing the relationship would be inappropriate for ethical, professional or safety reasons.
Where appropriate, you may be encouraged to seek support from another suitably qualified professional.
